When will I receive my refund?Updated 2 months ago
Refund Timeline by Platform
How long it takes to receive your refund depends on which platform processed your subscription.
Web Subscription Refunds (centr.com)
Processing stages:
- Support response: Typically within 24 hours
- Refund approval: Immediate upon agent approval
- Refund processing: Immediate
- Funds appear: 5-10 business days (sometimes 3-5 days)
Why 5-10 days? This is bank processing time, not CENTR delay. CENTR processes refunds immediately, but banks take time to post credits.
Apple App Store Refunds
Processing stages:
- Request submission: You submit at reportaproblem.apple.com
- Apple review: Few business days (typically 2-5 days)
- Apple decision: Approval or denial email sent
- If approved: Refund processes within 3-5 business days
- Funds appear: Depends on your bank (typically 3-5 days after Apple processes)
Total time: Approximately 5-10 business days from request to funds appearing.
Google Play Refunds
Processing stages:
- Request submission: Through Google Play Store
- Google review: Typically faster than Apple
- If approved: 3-5 business days to receive funds
- 48-hour window: If within 48 hours of purchase, may be automatic
Total time: Typically 3-10 business days depending on review speed.
What Are "Business Days"?
- Monday-Friday only
- Excludes weekends (Saturday & Sunday)
- Excludes banking holidays
- 5 business days = approximately 1 week
- 10 business days = approximately 2 weeks
Example: Refund processed on a Thursday → 5 business days = following Thursday (skipping weekend).
Where Will the Refund Appear?
Refunds go to your original payment method:
- Same credit or debit card used for subscription
- Apple Pay or Google Pay balance (if used for payment)
- Bank account linked to payment method
Check the same account where the original charge appeared.
