Quick Solution

If your password reset link isn't working, the most common cause is that it has expired. Password reset links expire after 24 hours for security. Request a new link and it will work.

Why this happens: For security, password reset links automatically expire 24 hours after they're sent.

Solution:

  1. Go back to centr.com/login or open the CENTR app
  2. Click or tap "Forgot Password" again
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Request a new reset link
  5. Use the new link within 24 hours

Why this happens: Each reset link can only be used once. If you already used it to set a new password, it won't work again.

Solution:

  • Try logging in with the new password you created
  • If you don't remember what password you set, request a new reset link
  • Use the new link to set a password you'll remember

Why this happens: Sometimes email programs break long links across multiple lines, making them incomplete.

Solution:

  1. Try copying the entire link from the email
  2. Paste it directly into your web browser's address bar
  3. Make sure the entire link is copied (no spaces or line breaks)
  4. Press Enter to load the reset page

Why this happens: Browser cache, cookies, or extensions can interfere with the reset page loading.

Solution:

  • Try opening the link in a different web browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge)
  • Try opening the link in incognito/private browsing mode
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies, then try again
  • Disable browser extensions temporarily and try the link again

For Mobile App Users

  1. Open the CENTR app
  2. On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password"
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Tap "Send Reset Link"
  5. Check your email (and spam folder)
  6. Click the NEW link in your email
  7. Set your new password immediately

For Web Users

  1. Go to centr.com/login
  2. Click "Forgot Password?"
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Click "Send Reset Link"

Act Fast

  • Use reset links within 24 hours of receiving them
  • Don't wait days to reset your password
  • If you receive multiple reset emails, use the most recent one

One Time Use

  • Each link works only once
  • After you set a new password, the link becomes invalid
  • If you need to change your password again, request another link

These restrictions exist to protect your account:

Page Not Loading?

If clicking the link doesn't load the reset page:

  1. Check your internet connection - Make sure you're online
  2. Try a different network - Switch from WiFi to mobile data or vice versa
  3. Try a different device - If you clicked from phone, try from computer
  4. Check centr.com status - Rarely, there may be service issues

Getting Error Messages?

This confirms the link is too old or already used. Request a new one following the steps above.

"Sorry, We Dropped a Dumbbell"

This is a temporary system error:

  • Wait 15-30 minutes
  • Clear your browser cache
  • Try again
  • If it persists, contact support

"Page Not Found" or 404 Error

The link may be broken or incomplete:

  • Copy the entire URL from your email
  • Paste it directly into your browser
  • Make sure there are no spaces or line breaks
  • If still not working, request a new link

Apple Private Relay Users

If you're using Apple Sign-In with "Hide My Email," make sure you're requesting the reset using your Apple relay email address (format: [email protected]), not your regular email.

How to find your relay email:

  1. Open Settings on iPhone/iPad
  2. Tap your name → "Password & Security"
  3. Tap "Apps Using Apple ID"
  4. Find CENTR and note the relay email
  5. Use this email when requesting password reset

Alternative Solution: Use Social Login

If you're having persistent password issues, consider using social login instead:

  • Sign in with Apple (iOS, Android, Web)
  • Continue with Google (iOS, Android, Web)
  • No password needed - uses your existing Apple ID or Google credentials
  • Faster and more secure

If you originally signed up with Apple or Google, just use the social login button on the login screen - no password reset needed!
