Quick Reset Process
Resetting your CENTR password is quick and easy. The whole process takes just a few minutes.
Step-by-Step Password Reset
For iOS or Android App
- Open the CENTR app on your device
- On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password"
- Enter the email address registered to your CENTR account
- Tap "Send Reset Link"
- Check your email inbox (and spam/junk folder)
- Open the reset email from CENTR
- Click the reset link in the email
- Create your new password (minimum 8 characters)
- Click "Save" or "Submit"
- Return to the app and log in with your new password
For Web (centr.com)
- Go to centr.com/login in your web browser
- Click the "Forgot Password?" link below the login fields
- Enter the email address registered to your CENTR account
- Click "Send Reset Link"
- Check your email inbox (and spam/junk folder)
- Open the reset email from CENTR
- Click the reset link in the email
- Create your new password (minimum 8 characters)
- Click "Save" or "Submit"
- Log in at centr.com/login with your new password
Important Things to Know
Reset Link Timing
- Arrival time: Reset emails typically arrive within 2-3 minutes
- Maximum wait: Wait up to 10 minutes before requesting another link
- Link expiration: Reset links expire after 24 hours for security
- Single use: Each reset link can only be used once
Password Requirements
Your new password must be:
- At least 8 characters long
- We recommend using a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols for security
- Different from your old password
- Something you can remember or store in a password manager
Security Notes
- Your password is encrypted and never shared with anyone
- Reset links expire after 24 hours to protect your account
- We'll never ask for your password via email or chat
- These security measures protect your account and personal data
Which Email Should I Use?
Standard Email Accounts
Use the email address you signed up with. Common mistakes to avoid:
- Typing .com instead of .net (or vice versa)
- Using work email instead of personal email (or vice versa)
- Using an old email address you no longer use
Apple Sign-In Users (Hide My Email)
If you signed up with "Sign in with Apple" and enabled "Hide My Email," you need to use your Apple Private Relay email address, NOT your regular email.
Your relay email looks like: [email protected] (example: [email protected])
How to find your Apple relay email:
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad
- Tap your name at the top
- Go to "Password & Security"
- Tap "Apps Using Apple ID"
- Find "CENTR" in the list
- Note the relay email address shown
- Use this email for password reset
Google Sign-In Users
If you signed up with "Continue with Google," you can either:
- Reset your password using your Gmail address, OR
- Continue using the "Continue with Google" button (no password needed)
Not Receiving the Reset Email?

- Check your spam/junk folder - Reset emails often get filtered there
- Wait 5-10 minutes - Email delivery can be delayed
- Verify your email - Make sure you entered it correctly
- Apple users: Use your relay email if you have "Hide My Email" enabled
- Try again: Request a new reset link if the first one didn't arrive
Reset Link Not Working?

- Browser issues: Try copying the link and pasting it into a different browser

After Resetting Your Password
Immediate Access
You can log in immediately after successfully creating your new password. Your account access is restored right away.
Use Your New Password
- Make sure you're using your NEW password, not your old one
- The old password will no longer work
- If you're having trouble logging in after reset, try clearing your browser cache or reinstalling the app
Save Your Password
We recommend:
- Using a password manager to store your CENTR password securely
- Writing it down in a secure location if you don't use a password manager
- NOT using the same password across multiple websites
Do I Need a Password?
If You Use Social Login
If you always sign in with "Sign in with Apple" or "Continue with Google," you don't need a password:
- Continue using the social login button
- Your Apple ID or Google account credentials are all you need
- You can add a password later by contacting support if desired
If You Want Both Options
Contact CENTR support at [email protected] to add email/password login to your social account. This lets you use either login method.
