Quick Process

You can update your email address directly in the CENTR app through your account settings. This changes the email you use to log in and receive communications from CENTR.

Step-by-Step: Change Your Email

In the App (iOS or Android)

  1. Open the CENTR app
  2. Tap Profile in the bottom navigation bar
  3. Tap Account Settings
  4. Find the Email or Email Address field
  5. Tap the email field to edit it
  6. Enter your new email address
  7. Tap Save or Update
  8. You may be prompted to verify the new email address

On Web (centr.com)

  1. Log in to centr.com
  2. Click your Profile icon or name
  3. Select Account Settings from the menu
  4. Find the Email Address field
  5. Click to edit and enter your new email
  6. Click Save Changes
  7. Check your new email for a verification link (if required)

Email Verification

After updating your email, you may need to verify the new address:

  • Check your new email inbox for a verification message from CENTR
  • Click the verification link in the email
  • Your email change will be confirmed
  • Check your spam folder if the verification email doesn't arrive within a few minutes

Important Things to Know

Your New Email Becomes Your Login

  • After changing your email, use the NEW email address to log in
  • Your old email will no longer work for login
  • Update your password manager with the new email if you use one

All Communications Go to New Email

  • Workout notifications, program updates, and support messages will be sent to your new email
  • Subscription receipts and billing notifications will go to the new email
  • Make sure you have access to the new email address

Your Data and Subscription Stay the Same

  • Changing your email doesn't affect your workout history
  • Your subscription remains active and unchanged
  • All your saved workouts, programs, and preferences are preserved
  • Only your login email changes

Special Considerations

If You Use Social Login (Apple or Google)

If you currently log in with "Sign in with Apple" or "Continue with Google" and the email doesn't match what you want:

  • You can still update your account email in Account Settings
  • Your account email and social login email can be different
  • Social login will continue to work
  • You can also use email/password login with your updated email

If You Have Apple Private Relay Email

If your account uses an Apple relay email ([email protected]) and you want to change to your regular email:

  1. Follow the steps above to update to your regular email in Account Settings
  2. After updating, you can log in with your regular email and password
  3. Or continue using "Sign in with Apple" - both will work

Email Already in Use

If you try to change to an email that's already associated with another CENTR account:

  • You'll see an error message that the email is taken
  • You'll need to use a different email address
  • Or contact support at [email protected] if you have duplicate accounts that need to be merged

Common Issues and Solutions

Can't Find Account Settings

  • Make sure you're logged in to the app or centr.com
  • Look for Profile icon/tab (usually bottom right on mobile, top right on web)
  • Account Settings should be in the Profile section menu
  • Try updating your app to the latest version if you can't find it

Save Button Not Working

  • Make sure the new email is in a valid format ([email protected])
  • Check that you're connected to the internet
  • Try closing and reopening the app
  • Clear your browser cache if using centr.com

Verification Email Not Arriving

  • Check your spam/junk folder in your NEW email inbox
  • Wait 5-10 minutes - verification emails can be delayed
  • Try updating your email again to resend the verification
  • Make sure you typed the new email correctly

Locked Out After Changing Email

If you can't log in after changing your email:

  1. Make sure you're using your NEW email address to log in, not the old one
  2. Try resetting your password using the "Forgot Password" option with your new email
  3. Check that you verified the new email (click the link in the verification email)
  4. If still having issues, contact support at [email protected] with both your old and new email addresses

When to Contact Support

Contact CENTR support at [email protected] if:

  • You can't access Account Settings in your profile
  • The email field is greyed out or not editable
  • You get an error when trying to save your new email
  • You never received the verification email after multiple attempts
  • You're locked out after changing your email

  • You want to change the email on a subscription that's billed through Apple or Google

  • Test login: Log out and log back in with your new email to confirm it works
