Why isn't my workout marking as complete?Updated 2 months ago
Understanding Workout Completion
CENTR workouts should automatically mark as complete when you finish them. If this isn't happening, it's usually a syncing issue that can be resolved with a few troubleshooting steps.
Quick Fixes to Try First
- Ensure you completed the entire workout: The workout must be played through to the end, not exited early, for it to register as complete
- Wait for sync: Look for a sync icon in the app and wait for the sync to complete before closing the app
- Force sync by logging out and back in: Sign out of the app, then sign back in to trigger a fresh sync of your data
- Check if completion shows on centr.com: Log in to the website to see if the completed workout appears there but not in the app
If the Quick Fixes Don't Work
If your workout still isn't marking as complete after trying the above steps, try these additional troubleshooting methods:
Force Close and Restart the App
- iPhone: Swipe up from the bottom of your screen, swipe the CENTR app away completely, then reopen it and log back in
- Android: Go to Settings → Apps → CENTR → Force Stop, then reopen the app and log back in
Check Your Internet Connection
- Make sure you have a stable internet connection when completing workouts
- Try switching between WiFi and mobile data to rule out a connection issue
- Workout completion data needs to sync to CENTR's servers, which requires internet access
Update to the Latest App Version
- iPhone: Open the App Store, go to Updates, find CENTR, and tap Update
- Android: Open Google Play Store, go to My apps & games, find CENTR, and tap Update
- Many completion tracking bugs are fixed in newer app releases
Delete and Reinstall the App
Important: Your saved data won't be lost - it's stored in the cloud.
- Delete or uninstall the CENTR app completely from your device
- Restart your device
- Reinstall the latest version from the App Store or Google Play
- Log in with your account credentials
- Check if your workout history appears and if new workouts mark as complete
Check if It's an Account Data Issue
If the workout doesn't show as complete on both the app and centr.com, this indicates an account data issue rather than just an app sync problem. In this case, contact support for assistance.
Known Issues
Some users have reported workout completion issues after app updates. If you recently updated the app and are experiencing this problem, it may be a known bug that the development team is addressing. Contact support to report the issue and get updates on a fix.
