Missing a Day is Completely Normal

Life happens! If you miss a workout, don't worry. CENTR programs are designed to be flexible and adapt to your schedule. There's no penalty, and your progress is not lost.

Your Options When You Miss a Workout

You have complete flexibility in how you handle a missed workout. Here are your options:

  • Catch up: Go back and complete the missed workout on one of your rest days or the next available day
  • Skip ahead: Simply pick up with the next day's workout and continue moving forward with the program schedule
  • Take it as a rest day: Accept it as an unplanned rest day and resume with your next scheduled workout

Recovery is Essential

Remember that recovery is an essential part of any good fitness routine. If you end up taking an extra rest day here and there, that's perfectly okay. Your body needs rest to build strength and prevent injury.

No Strict Deadlines

If you're doing a CENTR program, there is no strict deadline on completing it. The programs are designed to work around your life, not the other way around. You may want to catch up on the missed workout on one of your rest days, but remember to listen to your body and take it at your own pace.
