How do I update my profile information?

You can update your profile anytime in the Centr Coach app. Keeping your fitness level, goals, diet, and equipment up to date helps us recommend the right workouts, programs, and meals for you.

Fitness level and goals

The quickest way is from the Home screen: tap the settings (cog) icon in the top right, then update your fitness level (Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced) and your goal. You can also change them under Profile > Profile Settings.

Your daily workout, meal, and program recommendations will update right away. If you’re partway through a program, it will continue unchanged.

Not sure when to change your level? It’s a good time when workouts consistently feel too easy or too hard, after you finish a program, or when you’re returning from a break. [How do I select my fitness level?]

Dietary preferences

Go to Profile > Profile Settings and choose All (no restrictions), Vegetarian, Vegan, or Pescatarian. Your meal plan will update, though meals already planned for this week may not change until next week’s plan. [What if I have dietary restrictions?]

Equipment

Look for the Update My Equipment prompt on the Home screen, or go to My Equipment in Explore. Add or remove items, and your workout recommendations will match what you have.

Other settings

Under Profile > Preferences, you can manage notifications and choose your units (pounds or kilograms, miles or kilometers).

Under Profile > Account Settings, you can update your name, profile photo, and email address. [How do I update my email address?]

What stays the same

Updating your profile doesn’t affect your workout history, logged weights and progress, current program, or subscription.

Troubleshooting

If you can’t find a setting or your changes aren’t saving, check your internet connection, make sure you tapped Save, and update the app to the latest version.
