No - You Keep Access Until Your Billing Period Ends
When you cancel your CENTR subscription, you do NOT lose access immediately. You'll continue to have full access to all CENTR content and features until the end of your current billing period.
This is intentional and normal for all platforms.
Why You Keep Access After Cancelling
You've already paid for your current billing period, so you deserve to use the time you paid for. This is the same policy used by Netflix, Spotify, and most subscription services.
Think of it like this:
- You paid for October 1-31
- You cancel on October 15
- You keep access through October 31 (what you paid for)
- Access ends on October 31
Access Continuation by Platform
Apple App Store Subscriptions
- Access continues until your current billing period ends
- Check expiration date in Settings → Subscriptions → CENTR
- Shows "Expires on [date]" after cancellation
- You can use CENTR fully until that date
Google Play Subscriptions
- Access continues until current billing period ends
- Check expiration in Google Play → Subscriptions → CENTR
- Shows "Expires on [date]"
- Full access remains until expiration
Web Subscriptions (centr.com)
- Access continues through end of billing period
- If you cancel mid-month, you keep access through end of that month
- Your account remains active until period ends
Example Timelines
Monthly Subscription Example:
- Billing cycle: Renews on the 15th each month
- You cancel: October 10
- Access continues: Through October 15
- No charge on October 15 (cancellation prevents renewal)
- Access ends: October 15
Annual Subscription Example:
- Billing cycle: Renews December 1 each year
- You cancel: March 10
- Access continues: Through November 30 (8+ months!)
- No charge on December 1
- Access ends: November 30
What Happens When Access Ends
On your expiration date:
- You can no longer log into the CENTR app
- Downloaded workouts become inaccessible
- Your workout history and progress are saved
- You can resubscribe anytime to regain access
- Your data is retained if you reactivate
Common Questions
"Why do I still have access if I cancelled?"
This is normal! You're using the time you already paid for. Access continues through your billing period end date.
"Am I still being charged?"
No. Check your bank statement to confirm no NEW charges are appearing. Continued access does not mean continued billing.
"Can I get a refund since I still have access?"
You can request a refund separately, but having access doesn't prevent refund eligibility. Contact your platform for refund requests.
