Workouts aren't marking as completeUpdated 2 months ago

Quick Fix

Force close the CENTR app and reopen it. This often triggers the sync that marks your workout as complete.

Force Close and Restart

For iPhone

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of your screen
  2. Swipe the CENTR app up to close it completely
  3. Wait 10 seconds
  4. Open CENTR again
  5. Check if the workout now shows as complete

For Android

  1. Go to Settings on your device
  2. Tap "Apps" or "Applications"
  3. Find and tap "CENTR"
  4. Tap "Force Stop"
  5. Wait 10 seconds
  6. Open CENTR again
  7. Check if the workout now shows as complete

If Workout Still Not Marked Complete

Solution 2: Force Sync by Signing Out and In

  1. Open the CENTR app
  2. Go to your profile or settings
  3. Tap "Sign Out"
  4. Close the app completely
  5. Reopen the CENTR app
  6. Sign in with your email and password
  7. Wait 30 seconds for sync to complete
  8. Check your workout history

Important: Signing out does NOT delete your completed workouts. They're stored in the cloud.

Solution 3: Check If Completion Shows on centr.com

  1. Open a web browser on any device
  2. Go to centr.com
  3. Log in to your account
  4. Check your workout history or progress section
  5. Look for the workout you completed
  • If it shows as complete on web: This is an app sync issue. Sign out/in on the app.
  • If it's also incomplete on web: The workout may not have been recorded. Continue to Solution 4.

Solution 4: Ensure You Completed the Entire Workout

Workouts only mark complete when you finish them properly:

  • Did you watch/do the workout to the very end?
  • Did you see a "Workout Complete" message or checkmark?
  • Did you exit early or close the app before the end?

If you exited early, the workout won't count as complete. You'll need to do it again fully.

Solution 5: Check Your Internet Connection

Completion tracking requires internet to sync to the cloud.

  • Make sure you're connected to WiFi or mobile data
  • If you completed the workout offline, connect to internet now
  • Open the app while connected to trigger sync
  • Wait 1-2 minutes for sync to complete

Solution 6: Restart Your Device

  1. Power off your device completely
  2. Wait 10 seconds
  3. Power back on
  4. Connect to internet
  5. Open CENTR app
  6. Sign out and sign back in to force sync

Solution 7: Update the App

Completion tracking bugs may be fixed in newer versions.

iPhone:

  1. Open App Store
  2. Tap your profile icon
  3. Update CENTR if available
  4. After updating, force close and reopen app

Android:

  1. Open Google Play Store
  2. Tap your profile icon > "Manage apps & device"
  3. Update CENTR if available
  4. After updating, force close and reopen app

Solution 8: Delete and Reinstall the App

Your completed workouts are safe in the cloud. Reinstalling won't delete your workout history.

iPhone:

  1. Delete CENTR app
  2. Restart iPhone
  3. Reinstall from App Store
  4. Log in
  5. Wait 1-2 minutes for workout history to sync from cloud

Android:

  1. Uninstall CENTR app
  2. Restart device
  3. Reinstall from Google Play Store
  4. Log in
  5. Wait 1-2 minutes for workout history to sync from cloud

Common Reasons Workouts Don't Mark Complete

  • Exited before end: Must complete entire workout to get credit
  • No internet during completion: Sync happens online. Connect to internet.
  • App closed too quickly: Wait 10-20 seconds after completion before closing app
  • Sync delay: Can take 1-2 minutes. Wait, then check again.
  • App needs restart: Force close and reopen to trigger sync

Prevent Future Issues

To ensure workouts mark complete every time:

  • Stay connected to internet during workouts
  • Complete the entire workout to the end
  • Wait for "Workout Complete" confirmation message
  • Don't force close the app immediately after finishing
  • Wait 30 seconds after completion for sync
  • Check that checkmark or completion indicator appears

  • Device model and operating system version
  • CENTR app version (found in Settings or About)
  • Specific workout(s) that won't mark complete
  • Whether completion shows on centr.com
  • Whether you completed the entire workout
  • Whether you were connected to internet during and after
  • Screenshot of your workout history showing the incomplete workout
