Force Close the App
For iPhone (iOS)
- Swipe up from the bottom of your screen (or double-click Home button on older iPhones)
- Find the CENTR app in your open apps
- Swipe the CENTR app up and off the screen
- Wait 10 seconds
- Open CENTR again from your home screen
For Android
- Go to Settings on your device
- Tap "Apps" or "Applications"
- Find and tap "CENTR"
- Tap "Force Stop"
- Confirm by tapping "OK"
- Wait 10 seconds
- Open CENTR again
If App Still Freezes
Try these performance optimization steps in order.
Solution 2: Close Background Apps
Other apps running in the background can use memory and cause freezing.
iPhone:
- Swipe up from the bottom and pause in the middle of the screen
- You'll see all open apps
- Swipe up on each app to close them
- Open only CENTR
Android:
- Tap the Recent Apps button (square icon or swipe up and hold)
- Swipe away all apps except CENTR
- Or tap "Close All" if available
Solution 3: Check Device Storage
Low storage space causes apps to freeze and run slowly.
iPhone:
- Go to Settings
- Tap "General"
- Tap "iPhone Storage"
- Check available space - you need at least 500MB free
- Delete unused apps, photos, or videos if space is low

- Go to Settings
- Tap "Storage"
- Check available space - you need at least 500MB free
- Tap "Free up space" to clear cached files

Solution 4: Restart Your Device
Restarting clears memory and stops all background processes.
- Power off your device completely
- Wait 10 seconds
- Power back on
- Open only the CENTR app (don't open other apps first)
Solution 5: Update the App
Freezing bugs are often fixed in newer app versions.
iPhone:
- Open the App Store
- Tap your profile icon
- Scroll down to see pending updates
- If CENTR has an update, tap "Update"
Android:
- Open Google Play Store
- Tap your profile icon
- Select "Manage apps & device"
- Update CENTR if available
Solution 6: Clear App Cache (Android Only)
Clearing cache removes temporary files that may cause freezing.
- Go to Settings
- Tap "Apps" or "Applications"
- Find and tap "CENTR"
- Tap "Storage"
- Tap "Clear Cache" (NOT "Clear Data")
- Open CENTR again
Note: iOS doesn't have a cache clearing option. Skip to Solution 7 if you're on iPhone.

Important: Your data is saved in the cloud. You won't lose your workout history, progress, or subscription.
iPhone:
- Press and hold the CENTR app icon
- Tap "Remove App" and confirm
- Restart your iPhone
- Reinstall from the App Store
- Log in with your credentials
Android:
- Go to Settings > Apps > CENTR
- Tap "Uninstall" and confirm
- Restart your device
- Reinstall from Google Play Store
- Log in with your credentials
Common Causes of Freezing
- Low device memory: Too many apps running. Close all other apps
- Low storage space: Need 500MB+ free. Delete unused content
- Outdated app version: Update to latest version
- Outdated device software: Update iOS or Android to latest version
- Slow internet: Poor connection can cause app to freeze while loading. Switch to WiFi
Update Your Device Software
Outdated operating systems can cause compatibility issues.
iPhone:
- Go to Settings > General > Software Update
- If an update is available, tap "Download and Install"
- Follow the prompts to complete the update
Android:
- Go to Settings > System > System Update (may vary by device)
- Tap "Check for updates"
- Install any available updates

- CENTR app version (found in app Settings or About section)

- What you're doing when the app freezes (watching video, browsing workouts, etc.)
- How often it freezes (every time, occasionally, during specific activities)
- Screenshot or screen recording if possible
