Run an internet speed test at fast.com. Slow loading usually means slow internet. You need at least 5 Mbps for smooth performance.
Test Your Internet Speed
- Open a web browser and go to fast.com
- Wait for the speed test to complete
- Check your result:
- Below 5 Mbps: Your internet is too slow. Follow connection fixes below.
- 5+ Mbps: Connection is fine. Try app fixes below.
Improve Your Internet Speed
Solution 1: Switch to WiFi
If on mobile data:
- Connect to a WiFi network
- Try loading content again
Solution 2: Move Closer to Router
- Move within 20-30 feet of your WiFi router
- Remove obstacles between you and router
- Test speed again and try loading
Solution 3: Restart Your Router
- Unplug router from power
- Wait 30 seconds
- Plug back in
- Wait 2 minutes for restart
- Reconnect and try again
Solution 4: Close Other Apps and Devices
- Close all other apps on your device
- Stop downloads or updates
- Pause streaming on other devices
- Try loading in CENTR again
App Performance Fixes
Solution 5: Close Background Apps
iPhone:
- Swipe up from bottom and pause
- Swipe away all apps except CENTR
- Open only CENTR
Android:
- Tap Recent Apps button
- Swipe away all apps or tap "Close All"
- Open only CENTR
Solution 6: Force Close and Restart CENTR
iPhone:
- Swipe up and swipe CENTR away
- Wait 10 seconds
- Open CENTR again
Android:
- Settings > Apps > CENTR > Force Stop
- Wait 10 seconds
- Open CENTR again
Solution 7: Clear App Cache (Android Only)
- Go to Settings
- Tap "Apps" > "CENTR"
- Tap "Storage"
- Tap "Clear Cache"
- Open CENTR again
Note: iPhone users should skip to Solution 8.
Solution 8: Check Device Storage
Low storage slows down apps.
iPhone: Settings > General > iPhone Storage
Android: Settings > Storage
You need at least 500MB free. Delete unused apps, photos, or videos if low.
Solution 9: Restart Your Device
- Power off completely
- Wait 10 seconds
- Power back on
- Open CENTR (don't open other apps first)
Solution 10: Update the App
iPhone:
- App Store > Profile icon > Update CENTR
Android:
- Google Play Store > Profile > Manage apps & device > Update CENTR
Solution 11: Delete and Reinstall
Your data is safe in the cloud. Reinstalling won't delete anything.
iPhone:
- Delete CENTR app
- Restart iPhone
- Reinstall from App Store
- Log in
Android:
- Uninstall CENTR app
- Restart device
- Reinstall from Google Play Store
- Log in
Common Causes of Slow Loading
- Slow internet: Under 5 Mbps. Upgrade or switch networks.
- Weak WiFi signal: Move closer to router.
- Too many apps open: Close background apps.
- Low storage: Free up at least 500MB.
- Outdated app: Update to latest version.
- Cache buildup: Clear cache (Android) or reinstall (iOS).

Test if it's app-specific:
- Open a web browser
- Go to centr.com
- Log in and browse content
- If web is fast: The app needs updating or reinstalling
- If web is also slow: Your internet connection is the issue
