Quick Fix

Verify you're logged into the SAME account on all devices. Different accounts or login methods cause sync problems.

Check Account Consistency

On each device (phone, tablet, computer):

  1. Open the CENTR app or go to centr.com
  2. Check your account email in settings or profile
  3. Verify the email address is EXACTLY the same on every device
  4. If different, sign out and sign in with the correct email

Important: Using different email addresses creates separate accounts that don't sync.

Don't Mix Login Methods

Use the same login method on all devices:

  • If you use email/password on your phone: Use email/password on all devices
  • If you use "Sign in with Google": Use Google login on all devices
  • If you use "Sign in with Apple": Use Apple login on all devices

Mixing login methods (email on phone, Google on tablet) can create sync issues or separate accounts.

Force Sync on All Devices

After verifying same account everywhere:

  1. On each device, open CENTR app
  2. Sign out completely
  3. Close the app
  4. Reopen the app
  5. Sign in with the same email and method on every device
  6. Wait 1-2 minutes for data to sync
  7. Complete a workout on one device
  8. Wait 5 minutes, then check other devices to see if it synced

If Devices Still Not Syncing

Solution 2: Check Internet Connection on All Devices

Each device needs internet to sync:

  • Verify every device is connected to WiFi or mobile data
  • Test connection by opening websites or other apps
  • On each device, sign out and back in while connected to internet

Solution 3: Update App on All Devices

Different app versions can cause sync issues.

On each iPhone/iPad:

  1. Open App Store
  2. Tap your profile icon
  3. Update CENTR if available
  4. Repeat on each iOS device

On each Android device:

  1. Open Google Play Store
  2. Tap your profile icon > "Manage apps & device"
  3. Update CENTR if available
  4. Repeat on each Android device

After updating all devices, sign out and back in on each one.

Solution 4: Force Close on All Devices

iPhone/iPad:

  1. Swipe up from bottom
  2. Swipe CENTR app away
  3. Wait 10 seconds
  4. Open CENTR again

Android:

  1. Settings > Apps > CENTR > Force Stop
  2. Wait 10 seconds
  3. Open CENTR again

Do this on every device, then wait 2-3 minutes for sync.

Solution 5: Test Sync Direction

Determine which direction sync is working:

  1. Complete a workout on Device A
  2. Wait 5 minutes
  3. Check Device B to see if it appears
  4. Then complete a workout on Device B
  5. Wait 5 minutes
  6. Check Device A to see if it appears

This helps identify if the issue is one-way or both ways.

Solution 6: Reinstall on Problem Device

If one device isn't syncing but others are:

Your data is safe in the cloud. Reinstalling won't delete anything.

  1. Delete CENTR app from the problem device
  2. Restart that device
  3. Reinstall CENTR from App Store or Google Play
  4. Log in with the same credentials as other devices
  5. Wait 2-3 minutes for full sync
  6. Test sync again

Sync Timing by Platform

Different platforms may have different sync speeds:

  • Mobile app to mobile app: Usually syncs within 1-2 minutes
  • Mobile app to web: May take 3-5 minutes
  • Web to mobile app: May take 3-5 minutes

Always wait at least 5 minutes before deciding sync isn't working.

Common Multi-Device Issues

  • Progress shows on phone but not tablet: Verify same account, sign out/in on both
  • Workout completed on tablet doesn't show on phone: Wait 5 minutes, force close both apps, reopen
  • Favorites different on each device: You may have multiple accounts. Contact support to merge.
  • Some data syncs, some doesn't: Update app on all devices to same version

Verify You Don't Have Multiple Accounts

Signs you might have multiple accounts:

  • Different workout histories on different devices
  • Different favorites or programs saved
  • One device shows subscription active, another doesn't
  • Using different email addresses to log in

If you have multiple accounts, contact support at [email protected] to merge them.

Still Not Syncing Between Devices?

If sync still doesn't work after trying all steps, contact our support team at [email protected] with:

  • Your account email address
  • All devices you use (e.g., iPhone 15, iPad Pro, Windows laptop)
  • Operating system version on each device
  • CENTR app version on each device (if using apps)
  • What isn't syncing (workout history, favorites, progress, etc.)
  • Which direction sync fails (phone to tablet, tablet to phone, or both)
  • Whether you use the same login method on all devices
  • Screenshots from each device showing the sync issue
