Missing Parameters ErrorUpdated a month ago
Issue
Customer receives a “Missing Parameters” error when attempting to log into their account on the treadmill console, typically after a software update.
Root Cause
The issue occurs when the account password does not meet the current minimum security requirements.
Older accounts created with:
- 4-digit numeric passwords
will fail authentication after recent software updates.
The console requires:
- Minimum 8 characters
- At least 2 character types
(example: letters + numbers)
Resolution Steps (Customer Instructions)
Step 1: Reset the Account Password
- On your console touch, go to the account login page
- Select Forgot Password
- Enter the email address used to create the treadmill account
- Create a new password that meets the following requirements:
- At least 8 characters
- Includes at least two types of characters (example: letters + numbers)
Step 2: Log Back In on the Treadmill
- Return to the treadmill console
- Enter the same email address
- Log in using the newly updated password
- The “Missing Parameters” message should no longer appear
Important Notes
- Internet connectivity is not the issue
(Units can stream YouTube, update apps, and connect via hotspot) - Time/date sync does not resolve this issue
- This is account-authentication related, not a hardware failure
- This commonly appears after recent software updates (ex: version 20251107)
If Issue Persists
- Confirm the customer is logging in with the new password
- Verify the password meets both length and character-type requirements
- Have the customer fully restart the console and try again
