Quick Fix
Force close the CENTR app completely, then reopen it. This resolves many loading screen issues immediately.
Force Close and Restart
For iPhone (iOS)
- Swipe up from the bottom of your screen (or double-click Home button on older iPhones)
- Find the CENTR app in your open apps
- Swipe the CENTR app up and off the screen to close it completely
- Wait 10 seconds
- Open the CENTR app again from your home screen
For Android
- Open Settings on your device
- Tap "Apps" or "Applications"
- Find and tap "CENTR"
- Tap "Force Stop"
- Confirm by tapping "OK"
- Wait 10 seconds
- Return to your home screen and open CENTR again
If Still Stuck on Loading Screen
If force closing doesn't work, try these solutions in order.
Solution 2: Update to Latest App Version
App version 8.1.0 (as of November 2025) includes fixes for loading screen issues.
iPhone:
- Open the App Store
- Tap your profile icon in the top right
- Scroll down to see pending updates
- If CENTR shows an update, tap "Update"
- Wait for the update to complete, then open the app
Android:
- Open the Google Play Store
- Tap your profile icon in the top right
- Select "Manage apps & device"
- Look for CENTR under "Updates available"
- Tap "Update" next to CENTR
- Wait for the update to complete, then open the app
Solution 3: Check Your Internet Connection
The app needs internet to load past the CENTR logo.
- Try switching between WiFi and mobile data
- Move closer to your WiFi router if signal is weak
- Test other apps to confirm internet is working
- Restart your WiFi router if needed
Solution 4: Restart Your Device
- Power off your phone or tablet completely
- Wait 10 seconds
- Power your device back on
- Open the CENTR app
Solution 5: Clear App Cache (Android Only)
Clearing cache removes temporary files that may be causing loading issues.
- Go to Settings on your Android device
- Tap "Apps" or "Applications"
- Find and tap "CENTR"
- Tap "Storage"
- Tap "Clear Cache" (NOT "Clear Data")
- Open the CENTR app again
Note for iOS users: iPhones don't have a cache clearing option. You'll need to delete and reinstall (see Solution 6).
Solution 6: Delete and Reinstall the App
Important: Your workout history, progress, and subscription are saved in the cloud. Reinstalling will NOT delete your data.
iPhone:
- Press and hold the CENTR app icon on your home screen
- Tap "Remove App" or the minus (-) icon
- Select "Delete App" and confirm
- Restart your iPhone
- Open the App Store and search for "CENTR"
- Tap "Download" or the cloud icon to reinstall
- Open the app and log in with your email and password
Android:
- Open Settings
- Tap "Apps" or "Applications"
- Find and tap "CENTR"
- Tap "Uninstall" and confirm
- Restart your device
- Open the Google Play Store and search for "CENTR"
- Tap "Install"
- Open the app and log in with your email and password
Important Login Note: Use your email and original password (the password you used before any recent updates). This triggers the correct login flow.
Known Issue: Login Configuration Problem
Some users experience persistent loading screen issues due to a login configuration problem, especially after the v8.0 update. If you've tried all steps above and are still stuck on the CENTR logo:
Symptoms:
- App stays on CENTR logo and never opens
- Can only reach login screen after deleting and reinstalling
- Issue started after October 2025 update
- Reinstalling helps temporarily but issue returns
What to do: Contact our support team at [email protected]. Our team can perform a login configuration reset on your account, which resolves this issue for most users.
When contacting support, include:
- Your email address associated with your CENTR account
- Device model (e.g., iPhone 15 Pro, Google Pixel 10)
- Operating system version (e.g., iOS 18.7.1, Android 16)
- CENTR app version (if you can access it in Settings or About section)
- Confirmation that you've tried deleting and reinstalling
- Whether the issue started after an app update
After the support team performs the configuration reset:
- Delete the CENTR app from your device completely
- Reinstall the latest version from App Store or Google Play
- Open the app and sign in using your email and original password
- This will trigger the correct login flow and reconnect your account
Check If It's an App-Specific Issue
Try accessing your account on centr.com:
- Open a web browser on your computer, tablet, or phone
- Go to centr.com
- Log in to your account
- Check if you can access content
- If centr.com works: The issue is specific to the app. Contact support for login configuration reset.
- If centr.com also doesn't work: This may be an account issue. Contact support at [email protected].
Your Data Is Safe
While stuck on the loading screen is frustrating, your data is NOT lost:
- ✅ Your workout history and progress are stored in the cloud
- ✅ Your subscription status is safe
- ✅ Your saved favorites and programs are preserved
- ✅ Your account data and preferences remain intact
Once the loading issue is resolved, all your data will be accessible again.
